how to practice after a long break

we've been through a lot together these last 15 months.

we've been busy. bored. zoomed to exhaustion.

and the #1 thing that i hear from students is... we've had trouble practicing.

so.

how's your technique? how are you feeling about your practicing? are you proud of the work you did over the past 15 months?

it's perfectly understandable if the answer is, "not good, rob." you're not the only one.

BUT. nothing is permanent. there's no practice rut that can't be un-rutted. even the best musicians go through bad practice phases.

so today i'm going over 4 tips that will help you start fresh. i want to help you rebuild your chops, add structure to your practice sessions, and pivot back to reality.

today’s video is about how to start fresh after long break.
