‘natural-born talent’ is a made-up concept. i didn’t come out of the womb the player i am today. nothing about my musicianship or skills was innate.
i pushed myself, day after day, even when i felt like i was striving for the impossible – because i knew that whatever happened i’d come out on the other side better than i was before. and because i believe without a doubt that no problem is unsolvable, as long as you’re prepared to persist for as long as it takes to figure it out. in my experience, people vastly underestimate their ability level – and then choose underwhelming goals for themselves to match those expectations.
but you’re capable of SO much more than you let yourself believe.
your only problem with auditions is you haven’t figured out the right preparation process yet. and because you can’t see the path to where you want to be, you assume it’s not possible for you.

you’ll also have your 1-on-1 mocks on tuesdays and thursdays, where you’ll be getting online to play with another auditionhacker in a similar time-zone to you – and you’re free to arrange these at a time that suits you both.
your small-group ranked mocks on fridays will happen online at 3pm ET – if you can possibly make these calls live, that would be ideal. but if that definitely can’t work for your time zone, let us know and we’ll work out another time for you to play.
the biggest commitment of time will be your own preparation, practice and implementation of what you learning in the trainings, and from the feedback on your mocks – and that of course is ultimately up to you, depending on how determined you are to progress quickly.
