how to restart your practice routine this year

guys… welcome back.

it’s sad to see this summer ending because in the last few months i got married, went on my honeymoon, and moved into my new apartment.

but the metropolitan opera season is hurdling towards me like a train. it starts tomorrow

and it’s time to get my practice routine started for the year. between the met and the youtube channel and trying to generally keep my chops up, there’s a lot to practice for.

i want to plan out my practicing so that i’m going to be prepared for the first rehearsal of every piece i’m playing. and i want to learn a bunch of new music to record for this youtube channel.

so how do i organize my practice routine to get comfortable again on my instruments? and how do i make sure i’m preparing quickly enough for the first rehearsal of each piece i’m playing this coming year?

today’s video is about how to restart your practice routine this year.

i broke down the process into 3 steps so you clearly understand how to do it for yourself this year.

if you think this would help your friends or students, feel free to share the video on facebook!
